There are no coastal watches or warnings in effect for either storm however, the waves from Issac could cause life-threatening surf and rip current conditions in the Azores

As per the National Hurricane Center’s 4 pm Thursday update, Tropical Storm Isaac is 1285 miles west of the Azores and 880 miles east-northeast of Bermuda, with maximum sustained wind of 50 mph. It’s moving 10 mph to the east.

Tropical storm Isaac is expected to grow into a hurricane by Friday, the National Hurricane Center said Thursday night, as the storm was generating swells affecting the coast of Bermuda.
