Israel and the United States have warned there would be severe consequences in the event of an attack on Israel from Iran, which backs the militant group Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel likely used American-manufactured 2,000-pound bombs in a deadly attack in Lebanon last week that killed Hezbollah's leader Hasan Nasrallah, according to a new analysis. The Israeli army released video footage on Saturday which showed eight fighter jets it said were involved in the attack.
