Lamont Campbell, 51, was wheeled into a downtown courtroom Tuesday strapped into a safety chair. He remains jailed in lieu of more than $5.5 million bail.

The man killed when an LA Metro bus was hijacked this week has been identified by Los Angeles police. Anthony Rivera was a 48-year-old resident of LA.

A police SWAT team deployed flash-grenades into the bus and arrested a suspect, and one passenger died from gunshot wounds.
