Pakistan left out skipper Mohammad Rizwan from the playing XI for the third T20I against Australia at the Ninja Oval In Hobart. Pakistan are 2-0 down in the series in what is Rizwan's first assignment since being appointed the Men in Green captain in the shortest format of the game.

Mohammad Rizwan did exceedingly well as captain during the three-match ODI series against Australia. Under the leadership of Rizwan, Pakistan came back from behind to win the series 2-1 after conceding the first ODI at the MCG.

Pakistan announced their playing XI for the third and final T20I of the series against Australia hours before the coin toss on November 18. After losing the series, captain Mohammad Rizwan has been rested.
