President John F Kennedy would have no place in the modern Democrats because they have become the party of “censorship and surveillance”, Robert F Kennedy Jnr has claimed.

On Friday, the Cincinnati-based 6th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals declined to overturn a previous ruling from a federal judge in Detroit who agreed with both Michigan Secretary of State Jocelyn Benson and the Michigan Supreme Court that it was too late to have Kennedy's name removed from the state's presidential ballot.

The candidate had asked the justices to intervene after a state judge found that he had used an improper home address in election paperwork.

The Wisconsin Supreme Court ruled that Robert F. Kennedy Jr.'s name will remain on the swing state’s presidential ballot. The decision from the liberal-controlled court marks the latest twist in Kennedy’s quest to get his name off ballots in battleground states.

Independent presidential candidate Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. will be listed on Wisconsin voters' ballots after he tried to get courts to remove it.

The decision came after more than 418,000 absentee ballots have already been sent to voters. As of Thursday, nearly 28,000 had been returned, according to the Wisconsin Elections Commission.

"You’ll see my name on the ballot … you can vote for it, but I am asking you not to," the longtime Democrat turned Trump supporter said Thursday.
