Tech giant Super Micro Computer saw shares rise in early trading Monday as a deadline arrived that will determine its fate on Nasdaq.

Super Micro Computer was rising sharply early Monday as investors awaited a planned filing that would allow the server maker to avoid being delisted.Super Micro shares were up 11.5% at $20.72 in premarket trading.

With no SEC filings, Super Micro Computer is now at risk of getting delisted from the Nasdaq exchange. The company has 180 days to file its annual report past the due date once it formulates a plan with the Nasdaq regulators. If it doesn't, the stock will get dropped from the exchange.
