Atlanta’s veteran quarterback threw for 509 yards and four touchdowns in Thursday night’s victory over Tampa Bay, finally breaking out of an early-season funk.

The Falcons defeated the Buccaneers in overtime on "Thursday Night Football" 36-30 on a walk-off touchdown from Kirk Cousins to KhaDarel Hodge, who came in for one play to replace an injured Drake London.

Veteran quarterback Kirk Cousins had himself a night after leading the Atlanta Falcons to a nail-biting overtime win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 36-30, in Week 5 on Thursday. He led the Falcons' frantic drive with just a little over a minute left in regulation,

KhaDarel Hodge took a pass in overtime, broke a tackle and scored a 45-yard touchdown to get a 36-30 overtime win. Kirk Cousins threw for 509 yards as the Falcons got a massive win. The Falcons are 3-2 after the win, tied with the Buccaneers atop the division.

Kirk Cousins and Baker Mayfield will be bitter rivals Thursday night, but the Falcons and Buccaneers quarterbacks will both be donating $50,000 to Hurricane Helene victims.
