Jeremy Clarkson says government should 'back down' on farmers' inheritance tax as he joins London protest
The former Top Gear presenter has called on the government to admit it "made a mistake" and scrap its decision to impose an inheritance tax on some farmers, as thousands took to the streets of Westminster to oppose 'Starmer the farmer harmer'.

The number of farms that could be affected by the inheritance tax change is also disputed. The government says it will only affect the wealthiest 500 estates each year but the NFU and the Country Land and Business Association (CLA) have estimated up to 70,000 farms could be affected.
