Alabama football’s 2025 recruiting class was dinged on Sunday, when running back Anthony “Turbo” Rogers decommitted. The Carver-Montgomery product had originally committed to Alabama in June of 2023.

The No. 9 Alabama Crimson Tide (7-2) will welcome the Mercer Bears (9-1) to Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 2 p.m. ET on ESPN+, and while this matchup might seem like a foregone conclusion, the Bears are a scrappy team ready to bring A-game to Tuscaloosa.

Alabama football’s non-conference schedule ended Saturday without much of a challenge. The No. 9 Crimson Tide beat Mercer, its annual FCS opponent, 52-7 at Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday. Alabama now has 16 straight wins against FCS opponents dating back to coach Nick Saban’s Crimson Tide debut in 2007.
