Top Justice Department antitrust officials have decided to ask a judge to force Alphabet Inc.’s Google to sell off its Chrome browser in what would be a historic crackdown on one of the world’s biggest tech companies.

Under the proposal, measures related to artificial intelligence and the Android operating system are included.

Google had earlier warned that breaking off Android or Chrome from it would affect multiple people and businesses.
