The Lomira football team defeated Belleville, 36-0, in a state semifinal to advance to the program's first-ever state championship game.

The Lions and Wildcats both got out to slow starts, but it was Lomira senior Jack Luedtke who scored the first touchdown of the game from just outside the goal line.
