Almost £1bn in funding will go to delivering London-style buses nationwide as part of a massive Budget boost, the government has promised. The Department for Transport (DfT) has given more details on its plans for 2025 after announcing the funding last month.

The Government has announced how £1 billion in funding will be used to bring London-style buses to cities across the UK as part of a major Budget boost. Transport Secretary Louise Haigh confirmed that £712 million will be allocated to local authorities to improve services,

Areas receiving an 'unprecedented' amount of funding include Peterborough, the Isle of Wright, Torbay, Cambridgeshire, Leicester and Torbay.
