TCU entered the top 20 of the AP Top 25 women's basketball poll for the first time in 14 years on Monday, earning the Horned Frogs NCAA.com's team of the week honors.

UTSA forward Jordyn Jenkins averaged 28.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 70.4% from the field in wins over New Mexico State and UTEP. She has been strong to start the season, getting a double-double in three of the team's first four games and is averaging 23.5 points on the season.

The Horned Frogs were ranked No. 19 in the latest Associated Press Top 25 ranking, the highest for the program since 2008. Led by Sedona Prince and Hailey Van Lith, the Horned Frogs are off to a 4-0 start including the win over the Wolfpack, which were ranked No. 13 headed into Sunday’s game.

A week into the 2024-25 season, TCU women’s basketball is 2-0 with wins over two Southland Conference teams, Houston Christian (78-41) and New Orleans (107-52).

No. 13 N.C. State on Sunday. It was the team's first ranked win since 2021 and victory over a top 15 opponent in six seasons.

The top 12 teams in the AP Top 25 women's college basketball poll, led by No. 1 South Carolina, stayed put, while TCU entered at No. 19 -- its highest spot since '08.
