After an official visit this weekend in Gainesville to see a victory over LSU, four-star quarterback Tramell Jones committed to Florida, he told ESPN on Sunday, joining the Gators' 2025 class just four days after pulling his pledge from Florida State.

Mandarin quarterback Tramell Jones is staying in-state, committing to the Florida Gators after a weekend visit to Gainesville.

Tramell Jones, a four-star quarterback for the class of 2025 out of Mandarin High School, has decommitted from Florida State football.

Mandarin quarterback who had been on board and committed to Florida State since the spring of 2023, has flipped said pledge to Billy Napier and the Florida Gators. The announcement came over the weekend after Jones took in Gainesville for an official visit.

Jones de-committed from struggling Florida State last Thursday. The QB was in attendance for Florida’s big victory over LSU in Week 12 before announcing his flip on Sunday. Miami, UCF, and Louisville were among other teams that had an interest in the dynamic QB prospect.
